Shell Inspiration

As I was perusing the web, I found these fun, surreal shell pictures completed by Ivan Terestchenko.  His photographs are simply amazing and so inspiring!

I just had to post them because I am craving some major beach time right now!  These shells photos remind me of warmer times ahead!

Heart Pizza!

I just had to post this!  The Husband (who is in the pizza biz) brought home the cutest valentine present for me!  A veggie heart pizza just for me!  YUM!  Happy Valentine's Day to me!  I told him that he should sell these next year!  It was almost as good as chocolate:)

Wine Bottle Commission

Recently I was hired by a client to complete an artwork of her and her husband's favorite wine.



Here is the lovely bottle of wine from Heitz Cellars that I used for inspiration:

And here is what I came up with!  I had so much fun doing this and am thinking of possibly approaching some local wineries and seeing if I could do this for their wine.....I just love wine art:)

I think I am going to do this project with my drawing class:)  They will LOVE it!

I just found this online and had to post it!  This just proves that people will do something they might not normally do if it looks more fun.  As an educator this to me is genius!  What do you think?
